Zusammenfassung:A black glass powder is provided to produce a black glass paste that has extremely low light transmittance, high blackness, and good dispersibility, ensures storage stability, and is useful for obtaining a high-quality black pattern having high film density. A method for manufacturing a black glass powder for black glass pastes includes the steps of: mixing an oxide powder for black pigments with an inorganic binder powder to form a mixture; melting and cooling the mixture; and grinding the cooled mixture into a black glass powder having an average particle size of 0.5-20 micron. The mixture comprises 10-90wt% of an oxide for black pigments and 10-90wt% of an inorganic binder. The oxide for black pigments is molten-impregnated or partially molten-impregnated with an inorganic binder. Further, the oxide for black pigments is one or more selected from a group Cr oxide, Mn oxide, Fe oxide, Co oxide, Ni oxide, Cu oxide, Ru oxide, Mo oxide and a mixture thereof.
