A frame rate converter (602) is positioned to receive incoming HDTV signals from any source. The incoming signals can be at any frame rate, for example, 24Hz, 25Hz, 50Hz, 60Hz, 72Hz and 75Hz. The addition of a frame rate converter (602) provides a single vertical/horizontal display scan rate combination for all incoming signal rates. |
