Zusammenfassung: | An apparatus for generating a shock wave using a piezoelectric ceramic element is provided to effectively perform ultrasound treatment by installing an ultrasound image probe in the piezoelectric ceramic element to obtain an ultrasound image. An apparatus for generating a shock wave includes a pulse power generator, a vibrator(200), and a housing(300). The vibrator has a hollow piezoelectric ceramic element(210) and first and second electrodes(220,230) which are formed on outer and inner peripheral surfaces of the piezoelectric ceramic element respectively and electrically connected to the pulse power generator to be applied with pulse current generated by the pulse power generator. The housing installs the vibrator therein, forms a filling space(301) filled with a shock wave transmission medium to propagate the shock wave formed by vibration of the piezoelectric ceramic element, and has a shock wave reflection surface(311) to reflect the shock wave propagated through the shock wave transmission medium and converges the reflected shock wave in any position. |
