Zusammenfassung:	A flat member detection device is provided to form a small sensor unit attached to a sensor attachment member so as to dispose each sensor unit at a position adjacent to the plate member. A flat member detection device includes a base member(2), and a plurality of detection units(3). The base member has an elongated shape. The detection units are attached to the base member in the longitudinal direction at predetermined intervals. The base member is made of a metal material. The base member has a rectangular tube having a hollow part(11). A plurality of accommodating holes(12) are formed at the base member in the longitudinal direction at predetermined intervals by notching one corner of the rectangular part.
