METHOD FOR FORMING ELECTRODE PATTERN ON DISPLAY PANEL SUBSTRATE

A method for forming an electrode pattern on a display panel substrate is provided to form a fine pattern with a small width by forming a groove on a spray position of ink using a laser and spraying the ink on the groove. An electrode line pattern is formed on a display panel substrate(1) using an ink-jet process. A black matrix(2) is formed on the substrate. A laser is irradiated on the black matrix, such that a groove(4) is formed at a depth smaller than a thickness of the black matrix. Ink is sprayed on the groove to form a fine pattern(3). The ink contains a metal salt or a metal particle. The metal salt contains a metal element, which is selected from the group consisting of Ag, Cu, Au, Cr, Al, W, Zn, Ni, Fe, Pt, and Pb.
