PROCESS FOR TREATING RADIOACTIVE WASTEWATER PREPARED WITH POLYVINYL ALCOHOL AND APPARATUS THEREFOR

A process and an apparatus for treating radioactive wastewater prepared with a polyvinyl acetate resin are provided to enhance the quality of discharged condensed water for treating the radioactive wastewater prepared with the polyvinyl acetate resin. An apparatus for treating radioactive wastewater prepared with a polyvinyl acetate resin includes a wastewater supplying device(10), a plasma incineration system(20), a cyclone dust collecting device(30), a first oxidation catalyst reactor(40), a second oxidation catalyst reactor(60), and a cooling device(70). The waste supply device supplies aqueous polyvinyl acetate wastewater to the plasma incineration system. The plasma incineration system pyrolyzes or incinerates the wastewater by using plasma of 10,000 to 20,000 K. The cyclone dust collecting device collects the ultra low amount of fly ashes or soots generated in the plasma incineration system. The cooling device cools discharged components so as to separate a gas or a liquid from each other.
