Zusammenfassung:A display substrate, a fabricating method thereof and a display apparatus having the same are provided to block the external light coming into a channel region by forming a gate electrode higher than source/drain electrodes, and to reduce the number of mask by forming the drain electrode and a pixel electrode simultaneously. A pixel region is defined at a substrate(100). A data line and a gate line are formed corresponding to the pixel region, and cross each other to be isolated mutually. A source electrode(111) is formed by being diverged from the data line. A drain electrode(112) is formed by being separated from the source electrode. A pixel electrode(113) is formed by being expanded from the drain electrode to the pixel region. A semiconductor film pattern(125) covers the source electrode and the drain electrode. A first insulating film pattern covers the semiconductor film pattern, and is opened at a region where the pixel electrode is formed. A gate electrode(141) is formed on the first insulating film pattern by diverging from the gate line, overlapped partially at the horizontal plane about the source electrode and the drain electrode.
