ADMINISTRATION OF PHYSICAL DISTRIBUTION METHOD AND SYSTEM USED RFID

A method and a system for managing physical distribution by RFID(Radio Frequency IDentification) are provided to obtain correct information and improve reliability of the obtained information by linking an RFID system with a barcode system, and manage warehousing/delivery by generating RFID-barcode link information based on mapping RFID information to barcode information. A plurality of sensors(150) detects arrival/departure of a truck and information of pallets loaded in the truck. An RFID reader(130) recognizes an RFID tag(140) attached to each pallet. A controller(120) controls the sensors and the RFID reader, and receives RFID information and sensing information from the sensors and the RFID reader. An RFID physical distribution manager(110) manages distribution of the pallets by receiving the RFID information and the sensing information from the controller, and is linked with a barcode system(10). The RFID physical distribution manager includes middleware(111) filtering the RFID/sensing information and transferring a control command through the controller, a server(112) processing the filtered information and generating RFID-bard link information by mapping the RFID information to barcode information received from the barcode system, an application interface(113), and a database(114).
