OPTICAL FIBER AGGREGATE

An optical fiber aggregate is provided to maintain a shape for flexion by using silicon rubber resin as a coating material of an optical fiber alignment unit. An optical fiber aggregate comprises a plurality of optical fiber core wires(2a~2d), at least one support wire(3), and a holding unit(4). The plurality of optical fiber core wires are arranged in parallel. The at least one support wire is arranged adjacent to the plurality of optical fiber core wires and maintains a shape. The holding unit integrally holds the plurality of optical fiber core wires and the support line. The holding unit is made of silicon base material and formed by coating both surfaces or one surface of the plurality of optical fiber core wires and the support line.
