Zusammenfassung:A method and apparatus for manufacturing bioactive ultra-fine ginseng particles in a highly hygienic manner through the continuous ultraviolet sterilization of ginseng are provided to completely remove foreign material, microorganisms and pesticide residues and to be advantageous for mass production. Ginseng is showered in 0.05ppm ozone at wind velocity of 25m/sec to remove foreign material, microorganisms and pesticide residues, coarsely ground at 1,200 to 1,500rpm to particle sizes of 140 to 150micrometers, sterilized with ultraviolet light of 253.7 micrometers within 1 min, finely ground to an average particle size of 18 to 20 micrometers, ultra-finely ground to an average particle size of less than 8 micrometers and sterilized with ultraviolet light of 253.7 micrometers for 15 sec. An apparatus for making the ginseng particles contains an ozone air showering device, a coarse grinder, fine grinder, ultra-fine grinder, UV sterilizer and electronic scale and packaging device.
