Zusammenfassung:	A jig and a method for checking communication error in an air conditioner are provided to shorten a time for repairing work by rapidly and precisely determining an error of an air conditioner. A jig comprises a first sensor for checking an indoor unit substrate, a second sensor for checking an outdoor unit substrate, a controller for receiving information from the first and second sensors, and an output unit for displaying the checking result. A method for checking communication error in an air conditioner comprises the steps of checking the type of error occurring in the air conditioner(S102), precisely determining an error position by using the jig(S104), and exchanging or repairing the substrate having the error(S106).
