Zusammenfassung:	A wireless key and a system for remotely controlling a door having the same are provided to prevent an unnecessary standby state, and to effectively use a built in battery. A wireless key includes a built in battery(130) used as a power source. A polling power source receiving circuit(104) is operated by the built in battery for the polling power source receiving circuit to receive a polling radio wave for a wireless key search and certification. A lock/unlock indication radio wave transmitting circuit(108) transmits a lock/unlock indication radio wave. The lock/unlock indication radio wave transmitted from the lock/unlock indication radio wave transmitting circuit is triggered by an operation device(111,112,113). A controlling circuit includes a mode converting unit. The mode converting unit converts an operation mode of the lock/unlock indication radio wave transmitting circuit and the polling power source receiving circuit between a power saving mode and a full power mode.
