Zusammenfassung:An apparatus and a method for transmitting and receiving data by using an I2C interface are provided to transmit/receive data in synchronization with the edge of a clock signal to achieve rapid transmission and receiving of data and cope with noisy environments. A method for transmitting and receiving data by using an I2C interface includes a step of determining a transmitting/receiving mode, a step of transmitting/receiving data using a first mode and transmitting/receiving a control signal using a second mode when the determined transmitting/receiving mode corresponds to the first mode, and a step of transmitting/receiving the data and the control signal using the second mode when the determined transmitting/receiving mode corresponds to the second mode.
