APPARATUS AND METHOD OF CONTROLLING ELEVATOR IN COLLABORATION FRONT DOOR SYSTEM

An apparatus and a method of controlling an elevator in an apartment front door system are provided to allow fast and convenient use of the elevator while maintaining security of the apartment. An apparatus of controlling an elevator in an apartment front door system built with home network or home automation system, comprises an apartment front door system(100), an integration server(200), and an elevator system(300). The apartment front door system for opening the front door and providing a front door open message, comprises a door phone receiving password or floor information from the resident and allowing the visitor to talk to the resident, a front door card reader reading in the password information when the resident touches an issued gate card, and an apartment front door server opening the front door when allowed by the resident and sending the front door open message to the integration server. The integration server for providing a calling message including floor information of the resident's or the visitor's, when the front door open message is received from the apartment front door system, comprises a database storing floor information of each issued gate card number, and a controller sending the calling message including the floor information corresponding to the card number information or floor information included in the apartment front door open message received from the apartment front door server to the elevator system. The elevator system for moving the elevator to the first floor lobby, and moving the elevator to desired floor based on the floor information included in the calling message when the resident or visitor is get into the elevator, comprises an elevator, an elevator server, and an elevator interlocking board interlocking the elevator stopped in any floor with the elevator server.
