Zusammenfassung:	An overrun brake system for preventing a danger of overrun is provided to improve a braking operation by assisting the braking force when an engine brake is not working in the overrun period. An overrun brake system(1) for preventing a danger of overrun comprises a wheel speed sensor(32) for detecting the wheel speed(30), a brake input sensor(42) for detecting whether or not the brake(40) is operating, an ABS system, which is controlled by an electronic control unit(10) and an electronic hydraulic control unit(20). When a driver is in the overrun period, the overrun brake is operated to determine whether or not the overrun is started. When the driver gets out of the overrun period, an ABS system and an engine brake are operated instead of the overrun brake system. On the starting condition for the overrun brake system, there is no input signal with gear being in the neutral position.
