PLASMA DISPLAY PANEL

A plasma display panel is provided to prevent reflection of outdoor daylight by coloring a barrier rib with a color complementary to a color of a filter. A rear substrate and a front substrate are opposite to each other. A barrier rib(16) is arranged between the rear substrate and the front substrate to divide plural discharge cells. The barrier rib is colored with a first color. A fluorescent substance layer is applied in each discharge cell. An address electrode and a display electrode are intersected with each other and formed between the rear substrate and the front substrate. The address electrode and the display electrode correspond to respective discharge cells. A filter(30) is attached to the front substrate. The filter includes an electromagnetic wave shielding conductive layer(32) and an outdoor daylight anti-reflective layer. The outdoor daylight anti-reflective layer is colored with a second color complementary to the first color.
