USER VERIFICATION SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR SPEAKER VERIFICATION OF ON-LINE CONTENTS

A system and a method for authenticating an online contents user with speaker authentication are provided to determine provision of the contents by storing a first security table including a plurality of user voice files to a user storage device and authenticating the user through a speaker authentication program automatically when the user connects to a website of a CP(Content Provider), or requests or pays the contents. A user storage device(310) stores the first security table and a speaker authentication program. The CP(330) provides the speaker authentication program through user registration and provides the contents depending on the user authentication using the speaker authentication program. A user authentication server(340) stores a second security table compared with the first security table to perform a user authentication procedure. The first and second security tables include a plurality of user voice files recorded by using the user authentication program. The user storage device is various kinds of memory cards or a wired/wireless Internet portable terminal.
