Zusammenfassung:	A display apparatus mounted on a vehicle and a display method thereof are provided to prevent a user on a driver seat from operating an icon and a button restricted to be operated. A display method of a display apparatus mounted on a vehicle includes the steps of: generating a first image visible from a driver seat and a second image visible from a passenger seat; generating an image of icon or button restricted to be operated; and displaying the first and the second images on a monitor screen so that the first and the second image are seen from the driver seat and the passenger seat, on a monitor, where the icon or the button is included only in the second image.
