ANTENNA APPARATUS AND PORTABLE COMPUTER HAVING THE SAME

An antenna apparatus and a portable computer having the same are provided to improve a usage convenience, save a cost, and an appearance by securing a length corresponding to a frequency of an electric wave and saving an installation space. A portable computer(1) includes a main body part(100), a display part(200), a casing(210), an antenna apparatus(300), and a wireless communication part(400). The main body part processes data. The display part receives an electrical signal from the main body part and displays an image. The casing covers and protects the display part. The antenna apparatus is prepared in the casing, and transmits and receives electric waves. The wireless communication part processes the electric waves received by the antenna apparatus and electric waves to be transmitted to the antenna apparatus. The main body part includes an input part(110) such as a keyboard, or a touch pad. The display parts includes an LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) panel or a PDP(Plasma Display Panel). The antenna apparatus has a length suitable to receive the electric waves having a predetermined frequency value.
