Zusammenfassung:	A method for constructing a system for managing technical standards in designing a ship is provided to plan an intellectual asset management criterion and scheme for sharing the design techniques of experienced designers by constructing a manufacturing and designing support system linked with a design program wherein the intellectual asset is new technology, documents of competition companies, rules related to problems on previously designed ships, issues and corresponding countermeasures and others. A method for constructing a system for managing technical standards in designing a ship comprises the following several steps. A system proposes registration of various standard documents like option application criteria, BOM(Bill Of Materials) application standards, permanent or provisional change criteria, practices, design stand documents, building criterion documents, check lists, error examples, and trial operation plan documents. The system accepts requests for the standard proposal, and determines whether the requests are standardized. The system designates a proper person for constructing a standard, and notifies the person of work specifications. The designated person constructs the standard on the basis of the notified work specifications. The system approves and registers the constructed standard.
