An energy storing system for a hybrid vehicle comprises an engine that consumes fuel and a middle-sized or large-sized battery pack(100). A fuel tank, which stores the fuel, covers at least two sides of the middle or large sized battery pack. The fuel tank has a symmetric structure in which main storage parts are disposed at two sides of the middle or large sized battery pack. The fuel tank has a quadrangle structure which has a width and a length that are larger than a height. The fuel tank has a saddle figure in which a middle portion is divided into a first side having the main storage and a second side having a receiving part on which the battery pack is installed.
