Zusammenfassung:A graphite product is provided to improve the strength of a connection post of a heater without damaging the inherent characteristic of graphite like an excellent electrical conductivity and thermal impact resistance by including at least one protection coating layer having at least one of nitride, carbide, carbonitride or oxynitride of an element selected from a group of B, Al, Si, Ca, refractory hard metal, transition metal and a composition thereof. A graphite product includes a graphite core, a coating layer, a protection coating layer. The coating layer includes pyrolytic graphite having an average thickness of 0.001-0.10 inches. The protection coating layer is disposed on at least part of the pyrolytic graphite coating layer. The protection coating layer includes at least one of nitride, carbide, carbonitride or oxynitride of an element selected from a group of B, Al, Si, Ga, refractory hard metal, transition metal and a composition thereof. The graphite product has tensile strength of at least 25 or 50 percent higher than that of a corresponding graphite product without the pyrolytic graphite coating layer and the protection coating layer. The pyrolytic graphite coating layer can have a thickness of 0.005-0.05 inches.
