Zusammenfassung:A sea chest for an FRP ship is provided to permanently attach a porous plate to a hull in a stacked fashion. A hinge and a locking device are attached to part of a porous plate(1) for preventing foreign materials from being introduced into an engine system. The hinge comes into close contact with the front of one side of an inlet port(5) of a hull(4). In this state, the porous plate is attached to the front of the inlet port of the hull using a temporary adhesive. The hinge is fixed to the hull in a stacked fashion using FRP material. Thereby, the hinge is permanently integrated into the hull.
