Zusammenfassung:	A backlight assembly including a support system is provided to use the support system in which a lamp fixing portion and a heat blocking plate support portion are integrally formed to support a lamp and a heat blocking plate and reduce the number of elements and assembly time. A heat blocking plate(50) is interposed between a diffusion plate(40) and a reflective sheet(70). A lamp(60) is interposed between the heat blocking plate and the reflective sheet, and emits light. A support system includes a base plate(110) interposed between the heat blocking plate and the reflective sheet and fixed to a bottom chassis(80), a heat blocking plate support portion(120) protruding on the base plate to intersect the base plate, a lamp fixing portion(130) provided on the base plate, and a coupling portion(140) formed on a bottom surface of the base plate and fixing the base plate to the bottom chassis.
