Zusammenfassung:	A transmission method and an apparatus based on trellis coded modulation in a single carrier-frequency domain equalizer system are provided to improve diversity gain as simplifying complexity of a receiver. According to a transmission method of a radio signal in a transmitter of a single carrier-frequency domain equalizer system, TCM(Trellis Coded Modulation) is performed to maximize the Euclidian distance of a transmission signal(401). The TCM-treated transmission signal is interleaved to be orthogonal per each of a plurality of antenna paths(403). A guard interval signal is inserted into the transmission signal per each antenna path(405). The transmission signal inserted with the guard interval signal is converted into a radio signal and then is transmitted(407).
