A MIDDLEWARE FOR DATA COMMUNICATION BETWEEN VARIOUS TERMINALS AND APPLICATION SERVER AND AN OPERATING METHOD THEREOF

A middleware for supporting data communication between various types of terminals and an application server and an operation method therefor are provided to support data transceiving so that the data transceiving is able to be smoothly performed between mobile terminals and the application server regardless of types of mobile terminals or wireless Internet service providing methods. A terminal information ID module(110) parses a request received from a mobile terminal and identifies terminal information on the mobile terminal from the request. A terminal information mapping module(120) analyzes the terminal information to map a key with a key-key value pair consisting of a key value corresponding to the key, and generates a terminal information map for the mobile terminal. If an application server processes the request as outputting response data, a response data format conversion module(130) perceives a format of the most suitable response data for a type and specification of the mobile terminal and a type of a mobile communication provider based on the terminal information map, and converts the response data into the format. A response message generation module(140) stores the converted response data in a response message.
