Zusammenfassung:	An agent for inhibiting fungal diseases of fish is provided to inhibit the growth of fungi, selectively control and prevent the fungi and replace chemotherapeutic agents and antibiotics such as Malachite green, thereby being used as an environmental-friendly natural therapeutic agent. A therapeutic composition for fungal diseases of fish having anti-fungal activity on Saprolegnia parasitica, the fungal diseases-causing bacteria of fish, comprises an extract of sweet flag as an effective ingredient, wherein the extract is prepared by using a solvent such as water, hydrophilic organic solvent or a mixture solvent thereof.
