Zusammenfassung: | A secondary battery and a method for sealing an electrolyte inlet thereof are provided to save production time and cost by simplifying a sealing process of an electrolyte inlet, and to improve a sealant property of the electrolyte inlet. A secondary battery includes an electrode assembly, a can for accommodating the electrode assembly and an electrolyte, and a cap assembly which combines with an opened upper part of the can and has a cap plate(110) on which an electrolyte inlet is formed. A resin is placed between a stopper(160) inserted into the electrolyte inlet, and the electrolyte inlet. A method for sealing an electrolyte inlet of the secondary battery includes the steps of: fitting a tube-shape resin in the electrolyte inlet; inserting the stopper into the resin; and applying heat to the stopper to melt and solidifying a part of the resin(165a). |
