BRIDGE SUPPORT APPARATUS HAVING PLASTIC MAGNET GAUGE

A bridge bearing having a scale made of plastic magnet on a side of a sole plate is provided to align the center of scale with the center of masonry plate or an elastomeric damper and to provide convenience in installation, modification and measurement. Since the scale is made of plastic magnet, it is not damaged by welding heat. A bridge bearing(100) includes a sole plate(110) which is attached to the bottom of a superstructure, a masonry plate(120) which is fixed to the top of an infrastructure, an elastomeric damper(130) which is located in between the sole plate and the masonry plate to absorb compression load of the superstructure, a slider(160) which is located in between both plates to allow longitudinal extension of the superstructure, an indicator needle(300) which is extended from the masonry plate or the elastomeric damper to represent the center of the masonry plate, and a printed scale which attached to a side of the sole plate to align the center of the scale with the indicator needle.
