Zusammenfassung:A method and an apparatus for displaying an image in a mobile terminal are provided to allow a user to more clearly recognize the contents of an image by enlarging an image regulated suitably for the size of the mobile terminal through a browser or a viewer application up to the size of an original image step by step. A mobile terminal requests a page having an image from a content server which provides services through a mobile browser(s310). The page including an image having a regulated size is received from the content server. The image of the page is selected by a user. Original image data are received from the content server according to the selection of the user and stored in a specific area. The original image is enlarged and displayed according to the enlargement request of the user.
