Zusammenfassung:	A diaphragm assembly for a steam turbine and a steam turbine are provided to reduce fit-up problems without generating a radial step, and reduce the space required for assembling. A diaphragm assembly(100) for a steam turbine, includes a radially inner band(106), a radially outer band(108), and one or more partitions(110). The radially inner band includes a radially inner surface(114), an opposite radially outer surface(116), and a plurality of openings(112,118) extended between the inner surface and the outer surface. The radially outer band includes an opposite radially inner surface(120), a radially outer surface(122), and a plurality of openings extended between the inner surface and the outer surface. The partitions are extended between the inner band and the outer band. At least one of the radially outer band openings is at least partially defined by a wall which is extended obliquely between the radially inner surface of the outer band and the radially outer surface of the outer band.
