Zusammenfassung:An air injecting type hatch cover for a cargo hold of a ship is provided to reduce the weight of the hatch cover by maintaining the shape of the hatch cover using air and manufacturing the hatch cover using lightweight materials. Air of appropriate pressure is injected into a space in a hatch cover having a predetermined shape in which a surface area of a top layer is different from a surface area of a bottom layer. The hatch cover maintains its shape and weather tightness and supports a load applied from outside by the expansion force of the air injected into the hatch cover.
