PRIVACY PROTECTION METHOD FOR TERMINAL SUBSCRIBER, PRIVACY PROTECTION TERMINAL DEVICE, AND RECORDING MEDIUM RECORDING PRIVACY PROTECTION PROGRAM

A privacy protection method for a terminal owner, a privacy protection terminal device, and a recording medium recording a privacy protection program are provided to display or reproduce a face picture or a voice of a caller, registered in an address book, only in a non-privacy mode when a call is received from the caller, thereby preventing the third person from seeing or listening to the picture or a voice of an individual or an organization registered in the address book of the terminal owner in a private mode. A privacy protection method comprises: pre-registering at least either a picture or a corresponding voice of at least either an individual or an organization registered in an address book of a terminal pre-having a function for enabling terminal to be switched between a privacy mode and a non-privacy mode; performing at least either to display an image or to reproduce the voice with which a caller cannot be identified, instead of displaying the picture or reproducing the voice registered in the address book, when a call is received at the terminal in the privacy mode; and performing at least either to display the picture or to reproduce the voice registered in the address book when a call is received at the terminal in the non-privacy mode(14,19).
