Zusammenfassung: | [PROBLEMS] A conventional alloy for a fusible plug contains a harmful element such as Cd or Pb, and thus has a fear of causing pollution due to the harmful element. The object of the present invention is to provide a fusible plug wherein it does not contain Cd nor Pb, which is a harmful component, the alloy is not squeezed out from the fusible plug even in the use for a long period of time as a safety device of a refrigeration apparatus, and it exhibits high mechanical strength such as good creep characteristics. [MEANS FOR SOLVING PROBLEMS] An fusible plug which uses an alloy containing 0.1 to 2.0 mass % of Sn, 31 to 37 mass % of Bi and the balanced amount of In and fusing at about 70 to 750C; and an fusible plug which uses an alloy containing 0.05 to 0.4 mass % of Zn, 47 to 55 mass % of Bi and the balanced amount of In and fusing at about 90 to 950C. |
