AN ELECTRICITY TRANSPORT CONDUCTOR FOR OVERHEAD LINES

An electricity transport conductor for an overhead line is provided to obtain an electric cable operating at a temperature higher than 200 degrees centigrade by using an insulation material made of a polyether-ether-ketone. An operation temperature of an electricity transport conductor is higher than 200 degrees centigrade. The conductor includes at least one composite center core(1) which is made of a continuous fiber injected by using a matrix of an epoxy resin. The core is covered with at least one insulation layer(2). A conductor wire(3) made of aluminum or an aluminum alloy is wound around the core. The insulation material is fixed on the core without using an additional heating process. The insulation material is extruded from the core. The insulation material is made of a polyether-ether-ketone.
