DRIVER AND LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY APPARATUS COMPRISING THE SAME

A display device driver and a liquid crystal display device having the same are provided to prevent an erroneous image from being displayed on the LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) device by preventing a drive IC from being latched-up. A display device driver includes a gate-off voltage generator(720), a pulse signal delay unit(730), and a gate-on voltage generator(740). The gate-off voltage generator outputs a gate-off voltage by shifting a first input voltage level as much as the voltage level of a first pulse signal. The pulse signal delay unit is enabled by a time delay signal and outputs a second pulse signal of a second input voltage level. The second input voltage level is delayed from the first pulse signal. The gate-on voltage generator outputs a gate-on voltage by shifting a third input voltage level as much as the voltage level of the second pulse signal.
