Zusammenfassung:	A method for coating an external surface of a case with a dielectric thin film is provided to easily obtain a dielectric thin film having non-conductivity and silver color with lower cost. The method for coating an external surface of a case with a dielectric thin film comprises the steps of: forming a predetermined sheet or an injected article; and applying a dielectric thin film of a pure silicone(Si) or a dielectric thin film of ingredients mixed with silicone(Si) and boron(B) on the surface of the sheet or injected article under a vacuum. In the dielectric thin film of ingredients mixed with silicone(Si) and boron(B), the boron is mixed in an amount of 0.5 atomic % or less. Preferably, the dielectric thin film is coated to a thickness not more than 1000 angstrom.
