APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR REDUCING LEAKAGE CURRENT BETWEEN PROCESSORS IN A HETEROGENEOUS SYSTEM SHARING BUS

A device and a method for blocking a leakage current between processors in a heterogeneous system sharing a bus are provided to block the leakage current between the processors, which perform an operation by control of a controller and perform interface by sharing the bus, of the first system and the second system. A logical gate outputs a signal by receiving a control signal and the first power-off signal for stopping the first system core from the first system core receiving a power-off signal from the controller. The first switch(sw1) opens one end of a line for interfacing the first/second system(300c,302b) core by the signal output from the logical gate. The second switch(sw2) is shorted from the first ground terminal if the second power-off signal for stopping the second system core is received from the controller. The third switch(sw3) opens another end of the line for interfacing the second system core if the second power-off signal is received from the controller. The fourth switch(sw4) is shorted from the second ground terminal if the second power-off signal is received from the controller.
