Zusammenfassung:The invention relates to peptides of the 60-kDa human heat shock protein, which form epitopes for T-cells, as well as peptides derived therefrom, which are modified at the contact sites with the MHC molecule and which can be used to induce peripheral tolerance mechanisms, in particular mechanisms that induce anergy or mechanisms that are mediated by regulatory T-cell clones in patients with rheumatoid arthritis. The invention also relates to pharmaceutical compositions which comprise such peptides and which are intended for the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis.
