Zusammenfassung: | An AP(Access Point) handoff method of a mobile VoIP(Voice over Internet Protocol) terminal using a wireless LAN(Local Area Network) is provided to be capable of performing handoff according to user's movement in consideration of directivity during handoff between APs, thus the handoff can be more smoothly and quickly performed while the user is moving. A terminal obtains old RSSI(Received Signal Strength Indication) values at a time T1(S410), and obtains new RSSI values at a time T2(S420). The terminal decides whether the first new RSSI value is bigger than the first old RSSI value(S430). If not, the terminal decides whether the first new RSSI value is bigger than a threshold value(S440). If not, the terminal decides whether the first RSSI new value is bigger than the second and third new RSSI values(S450). If not, the terminal compares the first and second vectors(S470). If the first vector is larger than the second vector, the terminal attempts a link to an AP B(S480). |
