DEVICE OF SECURITY AND AUTHENTICATION FOR REMOTE ACCESS TO PROCESS CONTROL SYSTEM AND METHOD OF THE SAME

A device and a method for securely authenticating remote access to a control system are provided to remotely repair the control system for managing production of a processing line from the outside while keeping security and secrecy, and block/minimize security troubles caused by leakage and stealth of data such as an authentication ID and password. An IP(Internet Protocol) level authenticator(221) analyzes and authenticates an IP of a remote system(210). An ID level authenticator(222) authenticates the user by receiving a user ID/password from the remote system. A one-time security password authenticator(223) transmits a one-time security password to the user and authenticates the user by receiving the one-time security password from the remote system. A control system accessing part(224) allows the access to the control system(230) depending on access authority by checking the user access authority for the control system when the remote system requests a network service for the control system. The one-time security password is transmitted to the user by using an SMS(Short Message Service) or an email.
