Zusammenfassung: | An IPS(In Plane Switching) mode array substrate and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to design an area for inducing the fringe field and IPS electric field between a common electrode and a pixel electrode, thereby implementing the high brightness. A gate line(204) and a data line(222) are crossly formed on a substrate and define a pixel area. A TFT(Thin Film Transistor) is located at the crossing point of the gate line and data line. A transparent common electrode(202) is located at the pixel area and constructed by a plate shape corresponding to a portion of the pixel area and plural rod shapes corresponding to the remaining portion of the pixel area. A transparent pixel electrode(228) is located at the upper portion of the common electrode and constructed by plural horizontal members and a vertical member for connecting the plural horizontal members as one group at the center of the pixel area. |
