PHARMACEUTICAL COMPOSITION FOR ALLEVIATING IRRITATION OF NICOTINE USING HERB EXTRACT

A pharmaceutical composition comprising nicotine and an extract of herb is provided to be adapted for an anti-smoking aid by effectively masking an irritating taste of the nicotine through the use of the natural herb extract. The pharmaceutical composition for alleviating nicotine irritation comprises 0.01-5 wt.% of nicotine and 0.1-5 wt.% of an extract of herb which is at least one selected from the group consisting of lavender, rosemary, vervain, chamomile, thyme, sage, marshmallow, licorice root, lemon balm, Eucalyptus globulus, violet, blackberry, hyssop, stevia, asian plantain, scented geranium, borage family, Achillea Millefolium, Sambucus williamsii var. coreana, savory, greek sage, basil, angelica, orris, Japanese anise tree, mullein, mallow, chives, peppermint, and caraway. The composition further comprises a fruit concentrate or a sweetener.
