Zusammenfassung:	An image processing device and a control method thereof are provided to reduce booting time by initializing a device part while an OS(Operating System) is operated. The device part(150) processes an image signal and an application program(140) controls the device part. The OS(130) supports operation of the application program, and a bootloader(120) operates the OS. A controller(160) such as a microcomputer initializes the device part while the OS is operated. If power is applied, the controller transmits a reset signal to the bootloader, and the bootloader operates the OS based on the reset signal.
