Zusammenfassung:A bore-hole ultrasonic investigation system for measuring volumes of cavities is provided to generate ultrasonic waves and measure the ultrasonic waves, thereby obtaining three-dimensional profiles of the cavities. A bore-hole ultrasonic investigation system for measuring volumes of cavities includes a PCI extended instrument(1). A multi-channel analog/digital converter(2) is mounted in the PCI extended instrument to simultaneously measure a receipt signal from a receipt piezoelectric sensor(3) and a direction signal from an electronic compass(4). The signals are converted into digital signals. A transmissive electrical signal is generated through a high power pulse generator(5) controlled by the PCI extended instrument. The signal is transmitted to a transmissive piezoelectric sensor(7) through a slip ring to be converted into an ultrasonic signal.
