Zusammenfassung:	A method for online-brushing of hearth rolls is provided to remove alien substances adhered to surface portions of the hearth rolls without stopping the operation of a continuous annealing line. A method for online-brushing of hearth rolls comprises: dividing hearth rolls(1-16) of a continuous annealing line installed to be drive individually into front rolls(F), central rolls and rear rolls(R) per sections; slowly reducing speed of the central rolls over several seconds to rotate the central rolls reversely at a low speed, slowly reducing speed of the front rolls to rotate the front rolls forward at a low speed, and slowly reducing speed of the rear rolls to rotate the rear rolls forward or reversely at a low speed while maintaining an on-line speed of the strip when a weld portion of a strip(21) is positioned at the central rolls; and rotating the front rolls and the rear rolls at low speeds as compared with the central rolls.
