Zusammenfassung:The present invention relates to a system for providing on-line multimedia contents, which plays back multimedia contents on a network such as the internet and the like, and a method for making multimedia contents on a network such as the internet and the like, to be played back on a user's terminal. The system includes a content information receiving module for receiving content information input by a user, the content information being information on a multimedia content that the user wants to be played back; a web page searching module for checking whether or not there exists a web page including the content requested by the user, which can be accessed on the network, using the content information; a web page information processing module for, in case the web page searching module searches out a web page including the content requested by the user, extracting web page information which is information to be used for accessing the web page, and providing a web browser with the web page information so as to make the web browser access the web page; a web browser for accessing the searched web page through the network, acquiring data of the web page and displaying the data; and a multimedia playback module for playing back the content requested by the user, the playback being accompanied with the display of the web page.
