METHODS AND APPARATUS' OF TRANSMITTING MULTIMEDIA MESSAGE FOR MOBILE PHONE

A multimedia message notification device of an MS(Mobile Station) and a method thereof are provided to write a multimedia message corresponding to an anniversary by analyzing personal information of a phone book unit, and to transmit the message to the other member, thereby automatically announcing the anniversary. Real-time information of a timer unit and file-unit personal information of a phone book unit are applied to a schedule management unit by a controller of an MS, and a file in which the current time information is identical with an anniversary is searched(S200,S210). If the searched file is confirmed as a schedule notification registration file, the file is analyzed to confirm call group information(S220,S230). A text message unit and an image message unit individually write a message corresponding to the anniversary(S240). The written multimedia message is transmitted/notified to a call group member, and the message is outputted/displayed on a display(S250,S260).
