Zusammenfassung:A filament velvet fabric and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to use the synthetic fiber multi-filament as warp, weft and pile threads, thereby revealing the excellent drape property and elasticity. A base structure is formed by a warp(11) and a weft(12). A pile thread(15) is separately supplied and a pile loop(17) is made by a groove wire plate(16) so that a velvet structure is weaved. The upper and lower plates are separated by the reciprocating motion of a knife(cutter) attached at a knitting machine so that a pile is formed and then a velvet fabric is fabricated. The pile thread has the fineness of a single thread with 1 denier and a synthetic fiber multi-filament.
