Zusammenfassung:	A wheel drive device is provided to properly change a supporting force of a fixture portion and a manipulating portion according to a weight of the manipulating portion and a user's operating force. The wheel drive device includes a fixture portion(42) passing through a wheel and having a shaft member(44) fixedly installed on a body portion of a moving member, a shake portion(52) which restrains a shake by the fixture portion, and a support portion(70). The shake portion is installed to make the wheel freely rotate through a power transmitting appliance, and has a manipulating portion for generating the shake with respect to the fixture portion. The support portion controls the shake of the shake portion by supporting the fixture portion and the shake portion when the manipulating portion is disposed to a desired position in a shake direction of the shake portion.
